Captivating the audience

After this weeks reading of chapter 19 I've come to the conclusion that in order to advertise you must truly understand your customers and know keeps them engaged and hooked. Companies will often times integrate different activities and preferences of their targeted audience within their ads in order to effectively promote their product.

The goal of the ad is to make a short and sweet clip that audiences will remember and look back on due to its memorability. If you have ever found yourself humming a catchy jingle or recalling a hilarious ad from years ago? That's the power of memorable advertising. By creating moments that stick in the minds of consumers, brands can stay 'relevant' and build long-lasting relationships with their audience.

Even to this day, I find myself often reciting the catchy song from this ad from years ago. I remember as a kid watch TV in my grandma's room and every so often once the commercials played this ad would pop up and I would always sing along with the jingle. It's a very short but sweet ad with a pleasant jingle and nice animation and it's easy for audiences to resonate with. Not only do they effectively promote their service but after a while you find yourself able to even recite the phone number to the company. If that's not a successful ad then I don't know what is.
